Pantiles works in conjunction with qualified local Garden Designers, as part of The Garden Design Consultancy, who designs using up-to-date AutoCAD computer software, or by hand at the drawing board. The drawings are all scaled and colour rendered. This allows Pantiles to offer you the complete service, from a consultation, through to the design and then on to the construction of the garden.

It is a flexible service, so you can choose whether you want just a consultation, a design for the whole, or part of the garden, or maybe just a planting plan for a section of the garden. We will work with you, to your budget, to help you to realise your garden’s potential and to create a garden that suits your needs, for you to enjoy.

Your Consultation with The Garden Design Consultancy
How often do you buy a plant and it struggles to survive? Do you waste money in the garden centre as you don't know what plants to buy? If this sounds familiar, you are not alone!

The Garden Design Consultancy at Pantiles offers a consultation service where they will come to your house and give you tailored advice on your garden.

The first hour's consultation would usually be charged at £100, to cover things such as traveling time, subject to location.

It would typically cover topics such as:

  • Why you feel you require the services of a garden designer

  • A basic history of the garden

  • Your aspirations for the garden

  • Any works that are or may be going to happen which may affect layout etc

  • How you want the garden to fit into your lifestyle, or that of other users

  • Whether screening of any areas are required

  • What structural planting is required and how much

  • If there are any problem areas

  • Any information that may be readily available such as tree preservation orders or issues with access

From this visit you will get some ideas about how your garden could be developed and if drawings or estimates are required what the associated costs would be to produce these.
